The FC Barcelona Museum opened in 1984, the first ever to be opened as a means of exhibiting a club’s collection of its own history. The Barça club has chosen to exhibit not only its football history but also a history of the other sports that it encompasses – basketball, handball, hockey, and futsal.
Truly a museum for sports lovers, the museum boasts a brilliant new multimedia zone, a photographic history of the Barça club, and beautiful trophy and historical athletic collections. For the true Barça fan, the FC Barcelona Museum also offers the opportunity to tour the nearby Camp Nou.
